Jon Whitaker and I drove to the grocery store yesterday. While trying to park, we were talking about scratching cars and were trying to be cautious as to not damage this parked truck near us. We noticed in the driver's seat was a person who we were trying to figure out was a man or a woman. As we got closer and closer we saw a man with a small child on his lap playing with the steering wheel. And in the mouth of this baby was a pack of Marlboro cigarettes! It looked somewhat like this:
Without the cage on wheels, of course.
It was hard not to laugh because we couldn't believe what we had just seen, yet, it was hard not to feel terrible at the same time. It was totally a hilarious failblog.org moment, but a reminder that this really is a sad world.
